Svetlana Masgutova Educational Institute for Neuro-sensory-motor and Reflex integration™

Lifelong Reflexes are the group of reflexes that emerge during our childhood and continue to actively serve us throughout our lives. If we experience trauma or stress, these reflexes can be activated inappropriately or become inactivated and can have negative consequences, such as postural changes resulting in muscular and structural disorders and misalignment and inadequate motor-sensory integration. Other consequences can include negative influences on the development of our brain functions, emotions, personality, and the formation of our learning style.

Reflex integration methods involve natural, non-invasive movements that can be easily learned by parents of challenged children, adults, and professionals who work with challenged individuals. Integrating immature reflexes allows the body to access normal movement patterns and enables growth and progression to higher development levels integrating all parts of the brain. Since every individual possesses these natural programs, improvements can be achieved in even the most severe cases.

Participants in the Lifelong Reflexes Course will develop an in-depth understanding of:

·      The primary movement system of genetic motor programs.

·      The three aspects of reflex circuit activity.

·      How the brain uses stimuli for protection or for development.

·      The various responses of the brain to sensory stimuli.

·      Proprioceptive and motor responses as a reaction to sensory stimuli.

·      The psychological and physiological basis of movement strategies and stages.

·      How lifelong reflexes develop and the implications of a reflex pattern that is not integrated or immature.

Participants will receive Hands-On Training to:

·      Conduct assessments using the MNRI ™ Method to discover nonintegrated or immature reflex patterns.

·      Develop individual programs using the MNRI ™ Method to balance, activate and integrate these reflexes

·      Explore the possibilities for positive changes in body structure, posture and  movement development

·      Apply the MNRI ™ Method to develop individual programs for people having emotional, motivational and movement challenges.

This workshop is open to all professionals and families that work with children and adults with challenges

(TBI, Autism, Down Syndrome, CP, ADHD, or other neurological challenges.)
