The Centre for Neurological Development & Integration (CNDI)
Upcoming Workshop:
Integration of Dynamic and
Postural Reflex Patterns
November 29-30, December 1-2, 2008
Facilitated by Pamela
Curlee
International Faculty for Svetlana Masgutova Educational
Institute for Neuro-Sensory-Motor and Reflex Integration, U.S.A.
Dr. Masgutova is a leader in research on
Neuro-Sensory-Motor
and Reflex Integration™. Her work facilitates sensory
processing, emotional recovery, motor-physical and sensory-motor
rehabilitation as well as learning and developmental enrichment.
This workshop offers support for special-needs children and
their families. Participants will explore
Dynamic and Postural Reflexes
as the basis for individual
neurological and motor development. Serving as the basis for all
our learned movement and skills, these reflexes crucially
influence the development of the brain and our mental and
intellectual processes as we mature.
Participants will learn to identify and integrate reflex
patterns in order to release negative effects on structural,
emotional, cognitive and developmental skills. These are the
building blocks for reading, writing, and movement skills. This
method is based on the knowledge of neurological science
oriented toward the developmental processes. It has applications
for:
· ADD-ADHD
· Autism and Aspergers
· Speech and Language Delays
· Developmental Delays
This workshop is for parents, occupational therapists, physical
therapists, speech pathologists, massage therapists, physicians,
kinesiologist, and other professionals.
